Chul Lee received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees all in the School of Electrical Engineering from Korea University in 2003, 2008, and 2013, respectively. From 2002 to 2006, he was with Biospace Inc., where he was involved in the development of medical equipment. He is now with the Department of Electrical Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park. His research interests are image restoration, power-constrained contrast enhancement, and high dynamic range imaging.

He joined Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Suwon, Korea, where he was a Research Member from 2003 to 2011, Digital Media & Communications(DMC) R&D Center and is a Principal Engineer, Mobile R&D Office, Mobile Communications Business. His current research interests include image processing and computer vision.
